THE SNOW QUEEN
REMOTE OPERATED
ANIMATRONICS HEAD.
ON A SUITED PERFORMER USING MY VOCALS AS GUIDE.
A five week shoot in
Vancouver, operating an
8 foot Polar Bear. Using the Henson Creature
Shop control system to work
the servo driven head.
I provided the guide vocals
while shooting,
A well built head, that
achieved very lifelike
lip-sync.
Bridget Fonda played
the Snow Queen.
TALES OF RIVERBANK
LIP SYNC MUPPET TYPE PUPPETS TO AUDIO PLAYBACK.
An all puppet, feature length version of the cult 1960's television series that introduced us to 'Hammy Hampster' and his rodent pals.
Directed by the brilliant John Henderson , and with sumptious puppets by 'Asylum Effects' .
A core team of four puppeteers performed all the characters (except on 'crowd-shot days, when our ranks swelled to the dizzying heights of six puppeteers !)
So as you can imagine, we all got to play a huge variety of animals as well as our 'main' character.
Mine was 'Rodderick Rat' voiced by Steve Cougan. All great fun !
